RECIPE: Carrot Cake Oatmeal

Oatmeal is one of our favourite breakfast recipes, so of course we tried the carrot cake oatmeal. We’ve made several recipes, but this one was the best! So today we’ll share our recipe for carrot cake oatmeal.

40 gram oats
250 ml (unsweetened) almondmilk
1 large carrot
gingerbread spices*
(optional) walnuts
(optional) flax seeds

*If you don’t have these mixed spices, you should use: 1 tsp ground cinnamon (to taste),1/8 tsp ground ginger, 1/16th tsp ground nutmeg and a pinch of salt



1. Mix the oats, flax seeds and almond milk in a bowl.
2. Grate the carrot. Add the spices to taste and stir through.
3. Then put the bowl in the microwave for a few minutes (stir occasionally), or use a saucepan to heat the porridge.
4. Add the raisins and walnuts (cut into pieces) if you had not already done so.

Tip: If you have more time, you can also prepare this oatmeal in a saucepan!
